Weather update: Poth High School graduation

While closely monitoring the weather forecast, the Poth Independent School District (ISD) and Poth High School senior class have elected to continue with graduation plans at Jack Lane Field, 1201 E. Westmeyer St., as scheduled tonight, May 21. Ceremonies will commence in the football stadium at 8 p.m. — rain or shine, according to district officials. Attendees should anticipate some limitations and are encouraged to plan accordingly. Families and friends are encouraged to carpool as much as possible. Parking at Jack Lane Field will be limited to handicap-accessible parking and attendees with mobility concerns until the main lot reaches capacity....
