Floresville star Kaden Cypert claims State Championship title

Floresville High School Track and Field athletes competed against the best in Texas May 14 at the UIL 4A State Track & Field Championships in Austin. Taking the top spot, sophomore Kaden Cypert capped off an incredible season by becoming the UIL 4A State Champion in the 1600-meter run. After finishing seventh at State last year, Kaden put in the work and dedication that secured his Championship. Junior Mason Johns delivered an outstanding performance in the high jump event, earning a third-place finish.
