William Marshall is third at State Tennis Championship

Floresville High School junior William Marshall competed in the 2026 UIL 4A State Boys Singles Tennis Championship May 7-8 at Annemarie Tennis Center in San Antonio. William had a first-round bye, placing him in the Quarterfinals (Round of 8), where he defeated his opponent from Caldwell High School, 6-0, 6-1, to advance to the State Semifinals. In the State Semifinals (Final 4), William faced an opponent from Panther Creek High School (Frisco ISD). His run for the State Championship ended there with a 1-6, 2-6 loss, earning him the third place bronze medal. This is the first-ever State Tennis medal...
